Wow, a whole year has gone by--where did it go? Our website has now been online for a year, an in that time we've received over 2,000 hits! Not bad, all things considered! We've also had our Cafe Press store open for almost a year, and in that time we've been able to raise additional funds for the shelter. Thank you to everyone who has stopped by the site and/or shopped through the links on our site! It really does add up!

Speaking of adding up, our Santa Paws photo shoot was a real success this year. Patti Shaffer reports that we made around $2,000 for the cats! Wahoo! Special thanks to all of the Santas who helped make this event such a success. We will be posting some photos from the shoot later in the month.

The calendar contest, however, did not go as well as planned! We received very few entries for the calendar contest (probably due to the lateness of the entry forms getting out), so instead of putting together a Cafe Press calendar, Patti Shaffer is making up calendars for the club for anyone who wants one. They are really beautiful calendars, and can be customized with your own pictures of your cats. And while you're at it, be sure to ask Patti about the candy sale! Please contact Patti at for information about the calendars and candy sale. As always, proceeds from calendar and candy sales directly benefit the cats in our care.
