Saturday, May 4: Bake Sale Extraordinaire to be held at Sam's Club from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Sam's Club is located next to the Home Depot at the back entrance to the Eastwood Mall, off Route 46. "All Things Kitty" Basket Raffle: Cats Are People, Too! is raffling off a basket filled with all kinds of kitty-inspired goodies! If you'd like to purchase a raffle ticket, call Robin Faceglia (330-856-5465) or Helen Williams (330-652-7160). Some of the items include a throw, dishtowels, and a picture frame. All proceeds benefit C.A.P.T. The tickets are being sold now through May 4, and the drawing will be held May 5 at the Petsmart Adopt-a-Thon. If you'd like any more information about any of the above, please don't hesitate to give us a call! SPECIAL ALERT! Convicted animal abuser, Shon Rahrig, has been reported to be around the Columbus area. It is a violation of his probation to own any living animal, so if you see this person trying to adopt a pet, DO NOT adopt to him and call the police immediately! You may read an e-mail that was sent to C.A.P.T. regarding this person; note that some of it is graphic and disturbing. There is also information about the case and a photograph of Rahrig at Pet FBI's website. |
