Help pass felony animal cruelty legislation in Ohio: Ohio animals need your help! With horrible animal cruelty stories like Shaun Rharig's (see link at left), it is clear Ohio's animal cruelty laws are inadequate. Two matching bills, SB 221 and HB 480, would make the second animal cruelty offense a felony. But your help is needed to get these bills passed! Go to the Humane Society's Action Alert for these bills to find out more about them and how you can contact your state senator and representatives to get this very important legislation passed!
